System Administrator Linux

Your role

In the role of LINUX engineer and its platform, you will be an important person in the team responsible for the management and further development of technical services to our customer's business. The assignment includes ensuring the availability of systems and digital services, which places high demands on both security, stability and accuracy in the work we perform. You will also have a central role in the delivery and support flow of the IT services.

Examples of what we work with:

  • Standardize, streamline and automate working methods and systems.
  • Participate in projects linked to the technology platform.
  • Be part of the operations and support team, performing troubleshooting and installations.
  • Patch management and upgrading of the server environment.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements.
  • Actively participate in technology improvement work. Travel mainly within Sweden is included in the work, therefore it is desirable to have a B driving license. We are looking for 1 person with placement in Järfälla/Solna.

Your profile

  • We are looking for someone with an interest in technology and have good knowledge in the LINUX area.
  • Preferably experience from large operating environments with several variants of operating systems.
  • You are a person who is meticulous and service-oriented and wants to work in a team. Furthermore, it is important that you have an ambition to drive the work towards automation and find more efficient ways of working.
  • To thrive in the role and live up to expectations, we believe that you have:
  • A couple of years of experience in the technical area of LINUX with a focus on server operation.
  • Good knowledge of commonly used scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
  • Safety thinking about automated configuration management.
  • Great interest in technology and likes to work with the latest technology and keep up with the industry's development. Documentation is an important part of our work, which is why it is a requirement for fluency in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing. As a person, you are communicative and have an interest in meeting and collaborating with different types of people, both internally and externally. The work requires that you have a service-oriented approach. You are curious and not afraid to come up with new ideas and suggestions for improvement.

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience with Red Hat, SUSE Manager or similar tools
  • Experience with Ansible – Dockers – Kubernetes
  • System hardening

The position requires that you undergo and are approved in accordance with the security protection regulations in force from time to time. For positions where our client has a requirement for security class placement, there may, where applicable, entail a requirement for a certain citizenship.
