• Planning and implementation of the software lifecycle on the AIX infrastructure (pSeries, VIOS, LPARs)
• Ensuring the operation
• Capacity management regarding CPU, memory, I/O resources on the pSeries systems.
• Continuous optimization and automation of the entire AIX platform.
• Support for the Oracle DBAs and those responsible for the archive solution with the introduction of new releases and performance analyses.

• Several years of experience with construction, operation and lifecycle and IBM pSeries Enterprise systems with AIX, VIOs and HMC.
• Experience with performance analysis of databases on a virtualized IBM Power platform
• Distinctive flexibility, since planned work often has to be carried out in the evening or at the weekend
• Experience with Oracle DB on AIX desirable
• Good knowledge of SAN/Storage desirable
