Accounting Team Leader

To support our dynamic team in the Accounting Capital Partners department, we are looking for a motivated person who would like to take on this varied and challenging task and who would like to have managerial responsibility.

Role

  • Technical management and active participation in financial accounting;
  • Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to local GAAP and IFRS,
  • Timely recording of the individual transactions in the sub-ledgers;
  • Preparation of the budget;
  • Preparation of the VAT statement including year-end reconciliations;
  • Preparation of internal and external reports;
  • Creation of periodic/ad-hoc evaluations and analyses;
  • Assistance with accounting projects;
  • Cooperation with internal (worldwide) and external bodies;
  • Varied and demanding tasks in a dynamic area.

Requirements

  • Completed training as a specialist in accounting with federal Specialist certificate, federally certified expert in accounting and controlling or equivalent training;
  • Several years of professional experience in finance and accounting;
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written German and English;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and Abacus;
  • Structured, independent and precise work as well as quick comprehension;
  • Good manners with employees from different areas and countries;
  • Enjoyment in new subject areas and the will to continuous further development.
