We are strongly committed to integrating sustainability, respectively ESG (environmental, social and governance) aspects into our investment activities. As an ESG data analyst, you will play an active role in how we analyze ESG criteria for our investments. You will contribute to the continued development of our widely used proprietary tool, built to assess the ESG performance of investments, working closely with investment professionals in various asset classes.

As an ESG Analyst your main tasks will be the following:

• Responsible for maintanance and further development of our inhouse ESG tool;
• Conceptual work on ESG scoring data methodology, environmental impact measures and related topics;
• Maintenance and further development of other proprietary software tools used in portfolio management;
• Building and expanding knowledge of external developments in terms of ESG approaches / sustainability;
• Presenting our ESG analysis approach to internal and external clients.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in information technology, environmental sciences, applied mathematics or similar profile;
• Programming experience in .NET, ideally C#;
• Experience in object oriented programming design;
• Experience with SQL databases, ideally MS SQL Server;
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, VBA);
• Fluency in German and English;
• Excellent analytical and strong communication skills;
• Dynamic and results-oriented personality, self-starter;
• Genuine interest in sustainability topics.
