Project Description

We are looking for a Database Administrator/System Manager for the client's MS SQL database platform.

Job duties:

• Operation, management and further development of the database platform.
• Management of MS SQL environments: database hosting, single machines and clusters life cycle management.

Qualifications:

You need to have knowledge in the following areas/systems:

• Microsoft SQL Server
• Active Directory
• Windows Server
• System Center Operations Manager
• Scripting, primarily TSQL (Transact SQL), but also PowerShell
• XML

Initially, it is important to work on site at the client's premises in Stockholm. In the long term, certain work can be carried out remotely (e.g. 1 day remotely and 2 on site for a 3-day/week arrangement). An initial 2 month contract, with the option of a 6 month extension.
