Securities Specialist - Corporate Actions

Job content

Our Corporate Actions unit, consisting of two teams, each with around ten employees, takes care of the worldwide processing of administrative actions. The state of the economy has a direct impact on our work when it comes to implementation in customer portfolios. We are responsible for ensuring that clients receive high quality and professional communications for their securities held at our bank. Daily contact with customer advisors is just as important as that with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

After an introductory phase of getting to know the securities processes in the corporate actions environment, you will actively support the day-to-day business and be responsible for the administrative actions from start to finish:

  • Information management
  • Dossier opening
  • Creation of customer letters in 4 languages 
  • Processing of customer instructions
  • Transmission of instructions to the depositories
  • Posting of transactions in the banking systems
  • Processing/answering internal and external inquiries
  • Oral and written contact with internal and external interfaces
  • Processing of money and title differences

Requirements

For this exciting and varied role, we are looking for a colleague who has the following qualifications:

  • Bank apprenticeship, basic commercial training or high school diploma (preferably with banking experience)
  • Knowledge of securities an advantage
  • Ability to work in a team, collegiality and reliability
  • Independence, accuracy, resilience and flexibility
  • Enjoys professional and technical details
  • With your high degree of self-interest and sense of responsibility, you can work successfully in a team and process business cases efficiently and purposefully and support changes.
  • Very good oral and written German and English skills.
