HR Payroll Lead

Job content

  • You lead a team of payroll specialists and are responsible for wages and social security for Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
  • You are responsible for data and processing quality using SAP and Workday.
  • An important task is the reconciliation of salary and social security accounts with our accounting department.
  • You are responsible for timely communication to employees, supervisors and internal and external interfaces (e.g. withholding tax office, compensation office) in German and English.
  • You are responsible for the year-end work, e.g. the creation of wage statements and all insurance declarations.
  • You are responsible for the correct processing of the international payroll for our expats and inpats.
  • You act in an expert function for questions about our regulations and insurance.
  • You and your team ensure the training of the apprentices in your team.

Requirements

  • You have basic commercial training and a social security certificate, the HR certificate is an advantage.
  • You have several years of experience in the area of payroll including annual accounts and financial accounting issues.
  • You are very familiar with the challenges of payroll administration for expats and inpats.
  • You already have management experience, ideally in the payroll environment.
  • You have very good system knowledge, especially with SAP HCM, ideally also with Workday and are generally very IT-savvy.
  • You have excellent oral and written English and German skills, knowledge of French is an advantage.
  • You provide specialist information to internal contact persons as well as within the HR team and call in experts to clarify more complex issues
  • You are very reliable, customer-oriented, value high quality and are resilient and pragmatic
