As part of post trade processing, stock exchange transactions are settled in Switzerland and abroad, open settlements are monitored worldwide and Swiss registered shares are managed. In addition, we take care of process optimization and other improvements. The job rotation within the team offers flexibility and variety in day-to-day business. During the activity in trade processing and processing support, the specialist uses their know-how to continuously develop ideas for improving processes in cooperation with both the team and management.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that stock exchange transactions are processed on a daily basis
• Monitoring open settlements worldwide in over 70 markets in equities, bonds, ETFs, structured products and funds.
• Identifying and managing risk positions in collaboration with the team and other interfaces
• Processing of registrations and de-registrations of Swiss registered shares
• Various reconciliation and reporting obligations in relation to internal accounts, Swiss stamp duty and withholding tax
• Continuous identification of process improvements

Requirements

• Training as a bank clerk or similar training in the financial industry
• Extensive experience in trade support and settlement
• Basic knowledge and experience in other securities areas
• Basic knowledge of reconciliation
• Broad market and product knowledge of financial instruments
• Knowledge of Microsoft tools is a must
• Affinity for process analysis and improvements
• Experience in risk management post trade and settlement
• Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in both German (C1) and English (C1)

Status: Fixed term contract, 80% (6 months)
