Role

• Active partaking in the maintenance and further development of the firmwide data warehouse solution;
• Close collaboration with our data solution architects as well as the business stakeholders;
• Responsibility for the smooth day-to-day operations of the SQL Server based data warehouse solution in cooperation with the DevOps and infrastructure team, including monitoring, troubleshooting and performance optimization;
• Responsibility for implementing additional data from internal or cloud based systems as well as file imports with SSIS and T-SQL;
• Extract business requirements, create specifications and estimate effort required to deliver solutions as a bridge between businesses and technology teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Engineering or similar;
• 5+ years of experience in working in a larger data warehouse environment;
• Solid understanding of data warehouse modelling methods, in particular Data Vault and dimensional design;
• Good experience designing and implementing complex processes using T-SQL and SSIS;
• Additional experience in operating and tuning SQL Server and queries is preferred;
• Additional knowledge in C# and SSAS is a plus;
• Experience in the Azure stack and octopus deployments is an advantage;
• Great team player and ability to work collaboratively at various levels of the organization;
• Self-motivated, proactive, takes ownership and uses initiative;
• Work experience in the finance industry is a plus;
• Excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment;
• Fluency in English, German is a plus.
