As a Cloud Communications Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based communication systems that empower our business to connect, communicate, and collaborate seamlessly. Your technical expertise will be critical in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our cloud communication platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimize Microsoft Teams Phone and Video solutions;
• Evaluate emerging Microsoft and UC technologies and recommend improvements to the current environment;
• Conduct Proof-of-Concepts, validate and integrate new cloud communication technologies;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess communication needs and design tailored solutions.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive communication data and maintain compliance with industry standards;
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the cloud communication platforms, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem resolution;
• Ensure the reliability, availability, and security of the Microsoft Teams Phone and Video environment;
• Develop and maintain documentation related to the cloud communication platform and related processes;
• Work with Microsoft and other vendors and service providers to ensure that the Microsoft Teams environment is up-to-date and fully supported;
• Provide technical support and expertise to resolve communication-related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• Proven experience with cloud-based communication technologies, including VoIP, SIP, video conferencing;
• Experience with direct routing and contact center solutions;
• Knowledge of network protocols and security best practices;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
