- Analyze problems that occur in our Private markets applications and develop solutions to resolve them; provide root cause analysis that allow process improvements;
- Plan, install and maintain business applications including software upgrade patches and new product releases;
- Contribute to the functional availability of Private markets applications including system monitoring;
- Create technical specifications that are in line with the stakeholder’s requirements, assess the impact and translate desired changes/business needs into clear, functional possibilities, supported and implementable solutions;
- Be responsible for system configuration and parametrization of assigned applications or coordination of implementation with vendor;
- Manage the definition, specification and implementation of integration requirements for assigned application;
- Provide technical support to users where necessary and liaise product vendors on operational level;
- Collaborate with hardware, DBA and other technical teams to ensure proper integration of environments;
- Maintain and improve system documentation.
Requirements
- Several years of hands-on experience with installing, configuring, supporting and maintaining applications in the Financial Services sector;
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with knowledge of analytical tools;
- Service-oriented mindset and a high sense of responsibility and ownership;
- Experience with monitoring tools and scripting languages, including PowerShell;
- Hands-on experience in process automation, best practice approach, technology efficiency and effectiveness;
- Knowledge of FIS Investran and Hazeltree or other accounting / payment applications and the Microsoft Azure platform is a plus;
- Strong communication skills in English, German is an advantage.
